Hall Of History
The Hall of History features a 70 foot hallway that displays pictures and stories of the former and current owners. The inn has been in continual operation for the past 135 years and has only had 4 owners. There are dedicationals to each of the owners on one side of the hall, and the other has the history of the Old Mission Peninsula. Each with their unique story. The registration room features a 1880 post office, a 1908 telephone booth and 1909 crank pay phone. Come learn about days gone by and lifestyles of yesteryear.

A full hot breakfast is included in the price of every room. Check in time is 3:00 p.m. or later. Check out time is 11:00 am. Visa or MasterCard is required to hold the room(s). Should you need to cancel, a charge of 20% of the booking will be charged to your card. If cancellations are within 48 hours, then your card will be charged for the total booking. A 6% Michigan Sales Tax as well as a 2% Traverse City Hotel Tax (TCCVB) will be added to all rates effective 10-01-07. Due to the intimate nature of the atmosphere, children 10 and older are welcome. Not suitable for babies and small children. We ask that you please observe our no pet and no smoking policies. We also have a no candle policy due to insurance restrictions and fire hazard. 10% discounts given to AARP, AAA, repeat guests, group rates, corporate rates and military. Repeat guests receive a 15% discount. Also, purchase 6 nights in any of our accommodations and receive the 7th night free.
